If you’ve purchased a handprint/footprint/Paw Print charm, You no longer need to send the prints back to me if you wish to stay indoors, instead take a photo and send them to me via FB messenger or a DM on Instagram. Alternatively email me a copy by sending them to: info@truelovekeepsakes.co.uk

For Fingerprint Jewellery, as usual, a Pre-Paid Self Addressed Envelope will be enclosed with your order to return your prints.

All orders are sent by post. I offer Free UK delivery on all orders.

Making the charms from Silver means I am constantly washing my hands so rest assured all the necessary precautions are taken to ensure my hands are clean when making/handling your charms.

The pictures on the website, our social media pages and marketing material are for illustration purposes only. Each item is tailor-made to your requirements and is crafted by hand and therefore will always be unique to every customer.

Fine (Pure) Silver

All jewellery keepsake items are made from Fine Silver which is 99.9% Pure Silver. This type of silver is delicate and we recommend you remove your jewellery when bathing, showering and doing manual work such as housework.

All individual pieces are handmade; as a result shapes and sizes can vary.

All of our pieces are put through a careful and delicate finishing and polishing process, to achieve a beautiful finish, but one that is never going to be flawless.

Very faint scratches will be visible if looked at closely. This in no way takes away from the beauty of our charms/gifts, and you can expect a very high standard of finish.

Fingerprint/Hand and Footprint Jewellery

Fingerprints typically develop after 6 months of age and babies younger than this may not have defined prints.

For younger babies we would recommend you choose a handprint or footprint charm or wait until they are a little older.

Whether you decide on a fingerprint, hand or footprint jewellery, it will be unique to your child so we are unable to change or enhance the definition.

From the date we receive your prints back, please allow 14-21 days for your jewellery to be made. If you need your item sooner, please send an email with the details. Please note this may incur an extra charge.

Engraved Jewellery and Gifts 

We will start making your item from the date we receive your completed prints it will normally take 14 – 21 days for your item to be made.

This may take longer if your order includes items from our Fine (Pure) Silver Range and there maybe a delay in completing your order during busier periods such as Mother’s Day and Christmas.

We will keep you informed on the progress of your order and will notify you when your order is complete and has been posted out to you.

Should you need your item sooner, please get in touch before placing an order with us.

Print detail

Once an order has been placed, a print kit will be sent to you with clear instructions on how to take your prints and how to return them to us. If you are still unsure of how to take the prints, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

The fingerprint, handprint or footprint detail on the charms we create can only be as good as the print you have taken. We cannot improve the detail of the print. If you are not happy with the prints you have taken, you can order another print Fingerprint kit for £5.00 or a Handprint/Footprint Kit for £10. When you return the prints to us, we will take it that you are happy with the prints and we will proceed with making your item(s).

Personalisation and writing

All names will be scribed with the first letter being upper case and subsequent letters lower case, unless stated otherwise on the order form.

Dates will be written as: DD.MM.YY (e.g. 29.12.20) or DD.M.YY e.g. (29.1.20) unless stated otherwise on the order form.

Large charms can fit up to two prints e.g. 1 handprint and footprint and a name on the front.

Medium charms can fit 1 prints e.g. 1 handprint and a name on the front.

Small charms can fit 1 print e.g. 1 handprint and a name (maximum 5 letters) on the front.

For Small charms, names that are longer than 5 letters will be personalised on the back of the charm. (This will usually incur an extra cost.)


Due to the nature of fine silver, there will be some shrinkage (typically 8-9%) during the firing stage.


There are 3 ways you can pay for your order

  1.  Paypal – You can pay by using your debit, credit or bank account (You do not need a Paypal account to pay this way.)
  2. Bank Transfer – You can pay a direct bank transfer (please see details on payment page when placing an order.) Please ensure you use your FULL NAME as a reference. Your order will be processed when payment has clear in our account.
  3. Pay a deposit – You can opt to pay a deposit of 50% of your order and pay the balance within 28 days. When you pay the initial deposit of 50% we will send out your order form and print kit. When you have paid the balance in full, we will begin making your charm. Orders will not be honoured on any incomplete balances after 12 months.

Refunds will only be given at the discretion of the owner of True Love Keepsakes.

Any amount refunded will be minus 10% handling fee, minus the cost of any Print Kit(s) already sent to the customer and minus any Paypal fees incurred to True Love Keepsakes.


All pure silver charms are attached using a soldered jump ring (or a link lock at the request of the customer.) These are a secure way of attaching your charm to a bracelet or chain. We advise you to check your charm regularly to ensure attachments are intact as any knocks to the attachments may weaken it.

All other items include gemstone and crystal jewellery are tension set using a jump ring. We advise you to regularly check the fittings to ensure they are secure. We do not accept any responsibility for items lost due to loose fittings.

A photo will be taken of your charm, including an attachment as proof it was attached to your bracelet/charm securely should any dispute arise.

Cancellations and Refunds

Customers have 14 days from the date the order is placed and before we start making your item. During this time if you wish to cancel your order please send an email to loretta@truelovekeepsakes.co.uk

Please note any refund that is given will be minus any cost of goods incurred to make your order thus far, including any print kits sent to you.

We regret we are unable to accept cancellations after 14 days from your order date and/or we have begun making your item.

If you have purchased personalised jewellery, a print kit and order form will be sent to you. Please ensure any personalisation written on the order form is correct as we cannot change them once the prints are taken.


We regret that we cannot accept returns on personalised jewellery and gifts (including keyrings) unless we have made a mistake, the item is faulty or has been supplied wrongly.

True Love Keepsakes cannot take responsibility for the definition or quality of prints that are unique to your loved one, any spelling mistakes made by the customer or the wrong item being ordered.

If you have a problem with your order, please contact us by email at loretta@truelovekeepsakes.co.uk within 7 days, quoting your order number.

Delivery costs for any returned items needed for repair or inspection (for a refund) will be paid by the customer.

We advise any returns are sent Royal Mail, Special Delivery for any Pure Silver Keepsakes or Engraved Jewellery and Gifts. All other jewellery items should be sent recorded post. True Love Keepsakes does not accept responsibility for any returned items lost or damaged in the post.

Return of Non-Personalised Items

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return your non-personalised goods. These include our Crystal and Gemstone Jewellery and non-personalised stamped jewellery. We accept the return of non-personalised goods as long as it is in the original condition it was sold in, showing no signs of wear and tear, and in its original packaging.

Refunds will only be issued once we are in receipt of the item. The customer is responsible for the cost of postage to return the item to use for inspection.


We provide Free UK delivery on all personalised jewellery. All print kits are sent free of charge when you place an order for a keepsake. A pre-paid envelope will also be sent with the kit for you to return the prints to us if you have ordered a Fingerprint Kit. All other kits (Handprint/Footprint/Pawprints) can be sent via email at loretta@truelovekeepskes.co.uk or uploaded via our Facebook or Instagram pages.

If you have requested another kit, additional print kits will be charged at a cost of £7 for a Fingerprint Kit or a Handprint/Footprint/Paw Print Kit.

All personalised jewellery will be sent by Royal Mail, Recorded Post. Express post will incur a charge, please contact us should you require this service.

You will receive a notification once your item has been dispatched, if you have not received your item within five working days please contact us so that we can investigate this matter with Royal Mail.

International delivery and orders is at the discretion of the owner of True Love Keepsakes. The customer will incur all postage costs (including any custom charges) for International Post.

Social Media

All keepsakes, including all handmade jewellery, gifts, fingerprint, handprints and footprints/paw prints (captured on our inkless wipes) will be used for marketing purposes and will feature on all our social platforms including our website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest page.

Sign-Up Forms

We may offer free downloads, or discount offers to those who sign-up to our newsletter. The download/discount offers are solely for the subscriber to use and cannot be used in any other offer or promotion and there is no cash alternative.

Any free downloads remain the property of True Love Keepsakes and are not for re-sell.


Reviews that have been submitted by our customers on Google, Facebook, Instagram, email and on our website will be displayed on our website for potential customers to view.
