My Story

Loretta – True Love Keepsakes

Hi my name is Loretta, owner of True Love Keepsakes

I’m originally from London but came to settle in Birmingham after falling in love with my partner, Richard. He’s a Brummy and was already dad to a then little boy Josh (who’s now 28!)

My biggest achievement is having my son in 2011. He’s my best friend, he makes me laugh and I can’t imagine life without him.

True Love Keepsakes grew out of my need to capture the precious prints of my son. I wanted to capture his tiny feet and toes as a lasting memory. I created True Love Keepsakes out of my True Love, my son.

He was growing and changing so fast and I wanted to capture poignant moments in time. Consequently, I have adorable imprints of my son’s fingerprint, hands and feet. All captured in Pure Silver which I will cherish forever.

Realising the importance of capturing such memories, I established my business in 2014. I enjoy capturing and creating gorgeous keepsakes for other Mums and Dads.

My ‘other job’ is a Primary School Teacher, I’ve been teaching for 22 years.  I currently do Supply Teaching to fit around my business. I can’t imagine giving up completely as I love to help children reach their full potential.

In 2026 I have changed direction…

The New Year gave me the confidence and the push to scale back my business and ultimately change direction.

At the heart of who I am, is a teacher. I thrive best when I’m able to teach others to realise their full potential.

I’ve learnt not to ‘burn the candle at both ends’ so to speak so the first step was for me to stop creating my keepsakes.

I’ve spent the last few months beavering away in the background and can’t wait to share with you my next venture.

In the meantime you can still by my non-toxic inkless Handprint and Footprint kits, my Paw Print Kits and Fingerprint Kits.

Memories are imprints of the time we spend with those we love the most.
